Admissions Representative - Online

The primary role of the Admissions Representative is to selectively prospect, interview and enroll individuals into a qualified career-focused education and guide the prospective student through the enrollment completion process. The Admissions Representative also serves as a counselor and mentor to enrolled students as they progress through their program.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews with prospective students to determine the appropriate educational plan
  • Maintain a high level of productivity via outbound telephone calls with the aim of supporting department goals for contacting qualified applicants, generating personal leads, and accurately communicating the value of the school’s programs
  • Ensure that all required enrollment paperwork is properly completed during the enrollment process, and that all compliance guidelines are explicitly adhered to
  • Communicate with students throughout the enrollment and financial aid processes, and ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Identify potential problems and facilitate solutions by acting as a liaison between the student and the multiple departments within Platt College during and beyond the student enrollment process
  • Nurture relationship with existing students and aid in the institutions student retention efforts
  • Network with internal and external contacts to promote Platt College and develop personal leads
  • Operate within the highest ethical and professional standards, and demonstrate integrity when representing Platt College
  • Ensures excellent customer service and professionalism to all current students, prospective students and coworkers in all departments at all times

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills

Credentials and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One to three years of sales or counseling experience with a proven track record of success

Special Requirements:

  • Overtime as requested by supervisor – may include: evening, weekends or holidays
  • Attendance at the Platt College gradation required
