Platt College Los Angeles consists of four Southern California campuses located in Alhambra, Ontario, Riverside and Anaheim. Platt offers certificate and degree programs in several subject areas including school of graphic design, business and legal studies, medical sciences, and information technology. - Compensation Range: $ 80,000-120,000 /year
The Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of all nursing programs including program students and instructors. The Director must maintain program standards, including continued compliance with all state and federal regulations governing program operation. The Director will also review instructor practice in theory and clinical settings, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.

- Knowledge of education environments, including the needs of the adult learner

- Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for promoting adult health-care education
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Credential and Experience:
- A minimum of four years’ experience as a licensed registered nurse
- A minimum of two years’ experience in teaching in pre- or post- licensure registered nursing programs
- A minimum of one year experience as an administrator with validated performance of administrative responsibilities
- Have completed a course or courses offered by an approved school with instruction in administration, teaching, and curriculum development.
- Current, active, unrestricted California licensure as a registered nurse
- Master’s degree in a related subject area from an accredited college which includes course work in nursing, education or administration
